FH Brunch Factory — Privacy Policy
Effective 25 August 2026
This policy explains what information FH Brunch Factory collects when we contact service vendors and staff, why we collect it, and what we do and do not do with it.
Mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
What we collect
- Service vendors: business name, contact name, phone number, email address, and the service they provide.
- Consent records: whether a vendor confirmed a phone number or email address, the date and time they did so, and the exact wording shown to them at that moment.
- Message records: what was sent, when, and whether the carrier or mail provider reported it delivered.
- Staff: name, work email, work phone, role, and work records created in the normal course of employment.
Why we collect it
To run the restaurant. Vendor contact details let us request repairs; consent records let us prove someone agreed to be contacted and stop when they ask; message records let us tell whether a request actually reached the person meant to receive it.
We do not use any of it for advertising, and we do not build profiles.
Text messages
How opt-in works. A manager adds a vendor's mobile number, and the system sends one confirmation message containing a link. Nothing further is sent unless that person opens the link and confirms. If they do not confirm, they receive no further messages.
What is sent. Service requests only — a message when a piece of equipment needs repair. No marketing, no newsletters, no recurring sends.
How to opt out. Reply STOP to any message. It is honoured immediately and permanently. Reply HELP for contact information. Message and data rates may apply.
The full opt-in flow, including the exact wording used, is published at our SMS consent page.
Who we share it with
Nobody, for marketing. We share information only with the service providers that operate the system on our behalf — the platform that stores our records, and the messaging and email providers that deliver our requests. They act on our instructions and may not use the information for their own purposes.
We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our staff and guests.
How long we keep it
Vendor and maintenance records are kept while we do business with a vendor and for as long as we need the repair history of our equipment. Consent and opt-out records are kept for as long as we operate the messaging programme, because they are the evidence that consent was given or withdrawn.
Your choices
You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Opting out of messages does not require contacting us — reply STOP.
